This is my first time to test wine in US. It is really fun and fianlly I have to say I got drunk. I visited five places to test the wines.
The first testing room is in Los Olivos. The store name is Saarloos and Sons, and the andress is 2971 Grand Ave. Its specialty is cupcake.
They provide wines and cupcakes together, and I felt it is a good strategy of selling wines. Cupcakes are not too sweet, and Wines tasted very good. I like their way of introducing thier wines. Every wine has its story behind.
Than, second and third places are vineyard. One is Buttonwood Farm Winery at 1500 Alamo Pintado Road, and the other is Beckman Winery at 2670 Ontiveros Rd. Grape gardans, wine making machines, and larege scenary.
They are different from the testing room. But I think the wines I drank at testing room are better than in the vineyard.
Finally, forth and fifth places is in Los Olivos. One is Carhartt 2990A Grand Ave, and the pther is Refugio at 2990 Grand ave.
I really liked the the forth place. Although they just explained the wines' flavor and ingredient, I enjoy their surronding.
Small place, chatting people, green plants, and relax music. I bought one white wine here.
It was a fantastic experience. If I have time and money, I will do that again.
