Mjellyfish

This is not my first time to go to Yosemite National Park. Last time I went there was three years ago, and it was a summer time, everything looked different from what I saw this time. I was looking forward seeing how it would be in the winter, and I also wanted to go skiing, so I went to the Park again. The cover photo was two snowmen. One was made by someone, and the little one was made by me. Making a snowman is very interesting. At firtst, make a snow ball, grab more snow and combine them, roll the snow ball on the ground. It would be biger and biger. Find some materials such like branchesa and pinecones, and make the face, the clothes, and the arms. Making snowmen is a very fun thing in the winter, especially in snow days.

Half Dome is the only place I haven't been to. I didn't go there last time becaue I didn't apply the permission, and this time I didn't go there because it didn't open in the winter time. I can imagine I will go to the park in the future because of half dome.

Yosemite Fall is the most fomus place in the park. People can see the upper fall and the lower fall at the same time, but now it looked little fall comparing with it was last time. Actually I think if someone want to see falls here, the best time is spring or summer due to water coming from the melting snow.

Mariposa Grove looked as the same as what I saw last time. My friend said there are not too many snow this year, and when he went there in other winters, the land was coverd with snow. I went there, and I felt it was warm. It is a little pity not to see other face of Mariposa Grove.

Valley View is a place that my friend want to visit most. My frined said he saw some photos took in the park, and he never took the angle of the park. It was very beautiful, and it conveyed the taste of the winter. I can feel slient, white, and chilly. It totally appeared the other side of the park.

Because it didn't snow very often, people only can ski on the cross country. No downhill skiing. I though skiing was esay, and when I tried to ski, I found it was harder than what I though before. I was scared because I didn't know stop and change my direction during skiing. I fell down many times. My friend said actually it was not a good place to ski because it was too icy. I spent hours skiing, and I didn't ski so far. So depression it was. Hope I can do well next time!    

Eventually it was still beautiful in the winter, and people can feel different landscape depending on what season they go. This is a good way to celebrate Christmas day here, and this time would be my favorite memory of christmas time.
