There is my first time to celebrate new year's coming in US. My friend's friend was born in US, and has grown in LA, so she said most people in LA usually go to pubs, drink wine or beer, chat, play gato celebbrate new year's coming. So all of us decide to go to the pub. This night people need to take ID or passport with themselves. Some pubs' managers don't check ID in common days, but in new year eve they will check everyone. Some of famous pubs need to reserve first, or people cannot go inside.   

When we went to the pub, I found people there dressed up, and women usually maked up themselves, including my friend. I realized they really valued the party, and it prompted me to dress up and make up to celebrate next time. Because we went to the pub around 9 pm, it was not crowded. When it was getting close the midnight, more and more people appeared in the pub. 

People here always drink wine or beer. I chose the AWOL cocktail ( the first glass of wine), and one of my friend chose Breaking Bad cocktail ( the second glass of wine). My friend needed to drive us home, so he ordered one beer. When we waited the midnight coming, we started to play a game. The game's name is " I never have.......". At first, one person says one thing which he/she didn't do before, and other people who did what he said before drink wine or beer. And then the next person says one thig he/she never did before, and others who did it before drink, and so on. When I know the game, I wonder if someone will lie or not. My friend's friend said people cannot know someone lie or not, and people will lie or not depend on what he/she think. I think the game's style is like people's belief in US. No one will inspect what you said or did, and if you look down on yourself, you can lie. The game was so fun for us to play. People will know mamy misunderstandings they made. I think the game is better than one game named " dare or truth." The game didn't be directly against someone. 

When the midnight arrived, we counted down and hugged together. The interesting thing is the pub's TV would report the countdown in Time Square althought it was three hours ago. Everyone didn't mind the little thing, and it was a happy night. Again I felt there was the time difference in US, and it never happen in Taiwan.
