This is my first time  to attend half marathon in US. At first, I want to keep my running in US, but when jogging with one friend and discussing half marathons, we decided to attend one competition. My friend actually wanted to attend a 10km competition, and then I conviced her to attend half marathon. Finally, we all made it. And in the finish line, they provide beer and wine.

Santa to the sea half marathon's route is to run from some area to the beach. And people can wear constumes. The weather is very cold. It amlost 3 degree C at our start time. Due to the cold weather, I wore two jackets to run the half marathon. 

The differences between Taiwan and US are cheer groups. Some people play band, some people play drums, and some people play orchestra. Very interesting. Although there are not many people cheering, I still was cheered. Beccaue it is on December, some houses are decorated with many christmas decorations. Maybe this is my first time to run in US, so I felt it is fun. One of my friend thinks the LA marathon is better than this marathon, because there more cheer groups and the marathon are organized well. 

I like this matel. I got many metals in Taiwan's marathon. I am little disappointed with the metal. They looks the same. Only marathon's name and date are different. That is why I like the metal. It has its theme. And my friend says they have their theme metal in every marathon in US. I am looking forward attending other marathons in US.
